There is not big change in my life recently, actually. I didn't use or buy anything new. But to tell the truth, I'm planning to buy a Nintendo Wii, which is the latest game console now. It began about ten days ago, and it was sold out in the first two days. At that time, I was doing my past paper, and I couldn't get it at the third day. That's really incredible.
Why do I want it? Because the Nintendo Wii's controller could detect your real motions. That mean you can have a controller on hand and do any act in the game, such as playing baseball or fighting with a sword. That's very fascinate me, but I have to wait for next batch now. But why it attract me? I think it just like what the U&G theory said, I will choose and find out what I really want. I have played lots of video games since I was a child. After playing these games, I know what my favorite games are. Today when I see the Nintendo Wii, I foresee that it could be a big revolution in the video game field. That's why I want it most now.
How can I get these information? Surely that's because the internet. The internet became part of my life long time ago, that means, without internet, I don't know what to do when I stay in home. So these two days when it snowed outside, I chat and browse everywhere as usual.
About seven years ago, I remember that I didn't use internet at that time. I just knowed there was kimo (which was purchased by yahoo now) and I could play chess online. I liked chatting so I made a phone call everyday to my classmates, and that was the way how I get information. When I attended to college, I found that everyone use the internet to communicate, so I learned typing and adopted the online communites gradually. I think the internet really changed my behavior in many ways. I didn't watch the television from that because I could find more information online. I didn't use the telephone for communication because chatting through the internet could be cheaper. I even can play many kinds of games without seeking outside. The most change is that I won't worry about living with myself, because I can use Skype to connect with my family. I'm not alone; that's all because the internet.
I would thank that the internet give me all kinds of benefits in my life. But sometimes I would think that sitting in front of the screen is not a good thing, too. Internet can give the information to exercise our brain, but it can't exercise our body at all. After all, the cyberspace and the real community are two different worlds, and we have to balance them. If we do so, we can have more fun in our lives.

Recently, Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft all have begun to go on sale their new video game console. Among these video game consoles, I'm also interested in Nintendo Wii. As you said, Players must fall in love with the fun motion-sensitive control system that can translate hand movements onscreen. Also, the price$250 is probably right for millions players who may hesitate to spend $400 for a exciting Xbox 360 or $600 for the PlayStation 3.
As far as I know, Nintendo sold 600,000 units of its new Wii video game console in the first eight days after its release in USA. I hope you can get Wii as soon as possible. But don't forget Neil Postman's technology principle--The advantages and disadvantages of new technologies are never distributed evenly among the population. This means that every new technology benefits some and harms others. If you will play video game too musch, that will hurt your healthy and influence your learning efficiency.
